Our Primary French Upskilling course will return in September 2026. Register now to secure your place.

Registration will close on 7th September 2026.

The course runs for 10 weeks (20 hours).

Each class will run on Tuesday evenings via Zoom for two hours, from 6pm-8pm starting on Tuesday 15th September.

(*No class on Tuesday 13th October)

Week 10: Tuesday 1st December

Note: Lesson content will be made available to participating teachers 3 days before the start of each of the five modules.

This will enable participants to have time to familiarise themselves with course content in advance if they wish to.

Refundable Deposit for Crafty Little Linguists French Upskilling Course for Primary Teachers

Refundable Deposit *

Dear Course Participants,

This is a fully funded course provided by Crafty Little Linguists in collaboration with Languages Connect and Post Primary Languages Ireland.

However, to secure their funded place, each registering participant is asked to pay a refundable deposit of 30 euro. A refund of this 30 euro deposit will be issued upon completion of the course to those who achieve 80% attendance or above.

1.For participants who achieve 80% attendance or above, Crafty Little Linguists will refund the deposit within a week of the end of the course.

2.In the case of teachers not achieving 80% attendance, the deposit will be retained by Crafty Little Linguists as a processing fee.

FAQ: How do I know if this course will suit me?

This course has been designed to ensure that participants make progress within the CEFR A2.1 Proficiency Level in French.

The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is a global standard for describing language proficiency.

A1 and A2 are considered to be a Basic Level, approximately equivalent to the Irish Junior Cert.

Students at this level can handle routine and simple tasks, but they have limitations in complex conversations.
