Course Dates 2026



Our 11 week A2.1 Primary French Upskilling course will start on Monday 26th January 2026 and will run every week until Monday 27th April 2026 ( except Monday 16th February and Easter Monday 6th April)*

Each class will run via Zoom for two hours, from 6pm-8pm.


Class dates:

January: 26th

February: 2nd, 9th, 23rd

March: 2nd, 9th, 16th*, 23rd

April 12th, 19th, 26th


*NB. Our session on Monday 16th March will be an asynchronous pronunciation module with a short assignment which participants will submit in lieu of our usual 2 hour live lesson.


Note: Lesson content will be made available to participating teachers 2 days before the start of each of the five modules.

This will enable participants to have time to familiarise themselves with course content in advance if they wish to.

FAQ: How do I know if this course will suit me?


This course has been designed to ensure that participants make progress within the CEFR A2.1 Proficiency Level in French.


The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is a global standard for describing language proficiency.

A1 and A2 are considered to be a Basic Level, approximately equivalent to the Irish Junior Cert.

Students at this level can handle routine and simple tasks, but they have limitations in complex conversations.
